Call for Papers

Libraries are advocates of positive dynamic trends in the society including higher education and public institutions. Tremendous change in libraries had happened for the last decade. The conference aims to recognize some of the best practices and strategies of libraries in terms of introducing new tools and technologies in the delivery of credible sources and ethical content. It will also identify emerging trends in mobile environments, and understand the value of having diverse management and leadership styles. These changes have helped transform the communities libraries serve in their daily lives.  Libraries play a crucial role in information support for learning and research that are considered as driving forces on the development of the society.

Paper contributions are welcome from any part of the world but priority will be given to professionals working in Central Asia.

Suggested proposals should be in line with the theme and should be based on the following topics:

  • Strategies and trends in libraries
  • Use of mobile technologies and various tools in library services
  • Librarians as partners and collaborators in community events and academic research
  • Media and Information Literacy as a catalyst of change
  • Library management and its role in transforming the academic landscape
  • Reshaping physical library spaces: need versus want
