On February 11, 660 BC the first Emperor of Japan Jimmu founded the Japanese state. In honor of the National Foundation Day the Japanese Club of Nazarbayev University with the support of Nazarbayev University Library is organizing the Japan Day!

The event kicks off with the incredible stage performances of Japanese Martial Arts&Choir, dance yosokoi and aikido demonstration.

The event continues with the Japan Day Festival featuring wide range of Japanese traditional and family-friendly activities, free samplings of popular Japanese cuisine, and master-classes of kimono and yukata wearing, origami and calligraphy. 

Guests will have a great opportunity to play Japanese games, take part in Karaoke and Art contest and win valuable prizes!
