All are welcome to attend a roundtable discussion that offers an opportunity to hear about the experiences of mother scholars (those who are both academics and also mothers) and the ways they negotiate and navigate the challenges of these two roles.

The Nazarbayev University Library in collaboration with Consortium of Gender Scholars will be celebrating the Week of Women on 4-8 March 2019. It supports the global campaign #BalanceforBetter, a call-to-action for driving gender balance across the world. The week-long event will be having daily events to commemorate the achievements of women.

This program aims to:
1. Build a gender-balanced world by increasing the awareness on the role and achievements of women;
2. Strengthen gender equality and promoting women’s rights through panel discussions; 
3. Promote inclusive and quality education for all sharing ideas to forge women’s advancement.
