2nd Library InfoLit Race
The Second Library InfoLit Race Challenge aims to increase the Information Literacy skills of our students in the form of problem-based learning. Sets of skills are being developed such as their way of searching reliable information, evaluating scholarly resources, developing ethical principles by learning ways on how to cite and refer materials, and other IL components necessary to become a lifelong learner.
Objectives
In order to become information literate, students who will join this competition will be able to:

Deeply understand how to find reliable and authoritative information

Explore and expand their knowledge on different scholarly materials found in the library

Become responsible researchers and lifelong-learners by understanding various tools for citation

Mechanics
- The contest is open to all NU students.
- Each team should form three members. Think of a group name.
- There will be assigned stations during the race with challenges. Each completed challenge will earn a clue for the next station. It is important to bring all the clues until the last station. Incomplete clues will be a reason for disqualification.
- The fastest team to finish the race with all the completed tasks will be declared the champion.
