Libraries for Peace Day 2021
In celebration of the UN International Day of Peace 2021 every 21st of September, the NU Library is holding a virtual panel discussion on strengthening the ideals of peace in the community through libraries on 28 September 2021, Tuesday, 3PM-4:30PM. In line with this year’s theme, Recovering Better for an Equitable and Sustainable World, this panel discussion aims to:
- Promote the role of libraries in strengthening the ideals of peace within the community;
- Provide a safe space to foster understanding and dialogue;
- Promote the culture of peace through sharing of information in the academe; and
- Uphold youth’s leadership power in promoting peace in the community.
This event is in line with the Libraries for Peace (L4P) Day 2021 spearheaded by the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs.
The language of the discussion is English.
