Every year since 2007, the National Campaign "One Country — One Book" takes place in Kazakhstan. 2023 is the year of the Kazakh writer and playwright Tolen Abdik. 

As part of the “One Country — One Book” Campaign, the Nazarbayev University Library will hold Tolen Abdik Week from September 25 to 29, 2023. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events, and join us in paying tribute to the author.

From April 10 to September 29, books by T. Abdik will be available for borrowing to all NU community members at a specially equipped book display in the Main Library, Block 5, 3rd floor. 

We cordially invite all NU students to join us for an engaging and educational literary event on September 28.

Highlights of the event:

• Brief information about T. Abdik and his literary works.
• Discussion of T. Abdik's books and biography.
• An exciting literary quiz based on T. Abdik's books "Оң қол",  "Парасат майданы", "Тозақ оттары жымыңдайды", where you can test your knowledge and literary acumen and have the chance to win valuable prizes from the NU Library.
