Are you using Wikipedia as your source of information? Think again! Get to know Wikipedia and why you should (or should not) trust it.
At the end of the session, the learners should be able to:
- Understand the criteria used to assess the quality and reliability of a website;
- Understand how Wikipedia works as well as its advantages and short comings;
- Learn ways on how to critically think and assess web sites and other online content using Wikipedia; and
- Recognize the need to verify and corroborate information found on the web.
