NU Library switched to Alma and Primo, a new library platform replacing the existing library catalogue. Primo, the discovery interface for Alma, is a modern solution that uses cloud-based technology and offers a responsive web and mobile design. With Primo, users can conveniently explore the library, whether on or off campus, using their desktop or mobile device and with internet access. This platform greatly improves the user experience.

The open session aims to:

• provide useful information about the new library system Alma and its interface Primo;
• be familiar with the fundamental features of Primo for basic and in-depth searching as well as for improved user experience; 
• promote Primo to the academic community;
• learn where to get help when needed.
