Stress Relief Week - 2023 at NU

NU Library, in collaboration with the NU Health and Wellness Center and NU Psychology Club, is here to support you during the crucial exam preparation period and invites you to join Stress Relief Week: November 20-24, 2023.

The week-long program includes a series of events:


  • Neurographics for Stress Release (English, Kazakh, Russian)

The purpose of neural drawing is to express a person's fears, beliefs, unconscious tensions, and past experiences, allowing for the transformation of limitations that hinder personal growth into positive ideas enabling decision-making, problem-solving, and goal manifestation.

  • Stress Devaluation Techniques (Russian)

Meditation aids in avoiding fixation on disturbing thoughts, fostering complete calmness of mind and body while maintaining awareness.

  • Meditation: "Good Memories" (Russian)

Meditation restores psychological, emotional, and physical comfort by activating internal resources, enhancing organ function, and restoring hormonal balance.

  • Art Therapy: Transformation (English, Kazakh, Russian)

Transformational art therapy addresses life changes, allowing focus on positivity or exploration of underlying causes of distress, fostering change and action.

'Choosing Life!' - Express aspirations or alleviate stress through art therapy, boosting self-esteem and fostering creativity.
