Keyword Generation using Library Research Databases and GPTs: Which one is better? (Advanced)

Keyword Generation using Library Research Databases and GPTs: Which one is better? (Advanced)

Generating keywords for searching might be a complex task and would require some patience, persistence, and flexibility. Whether you are using research databases or GPTs in generating keywords, searching should be iterative and heuristic.This session will help us to understand the results retrieved from these platforms and compare which one is better.

At the end of the session, the learners should be able to:

  • Understand how library databases categorize article information in generating basic list of search terms based on the topic of choice;

  • Learn the basics of how GPTs are trained and generate responses in identifying gaps in the returned results; and

  • Compare search results from AI-generated keywords and human-generated keywords to critically evaluate the yielded results.
