Explore Engineering Databases: Optics Infobase & SPIE Digital Library
In February - April you can explore Engineering databases with help of SEDS librarian. The online drop-in sessions will give you an overview of the database and the effective search features.
Whether you're working on assignments, projects, or theses, it is recommended to search a subject database ensuring comprehensive coverage of literature. This session will focus on Optics Infobase databases:
- discover interface;
- learn how to use sophisticated search; and
- access full text of article and ebooks;
- and more.
Optic Infobase - access a large collection of peer-reviewed optics and photonics content via OSA's digital library, Optics InfoBase. This cutting-edge repository includes all of OSA's content and complements it with key co-publications. With more than 185,000 articles, OSA's content covers a breadth of disciplines, many of which are available free of charge in full text.
The SPIE Digital Library contains the world’s largest collection of optics and photonics applied research. With more than 560,000 papers spanning biomedicine, communications, sensors, defense and security, manufacturing, electronics, energy, and imaging, the SPIE Digital Library is the most extensive research database available on optics and photonics research.
