Mapping Tools for Lit Searching [Advanced]
Conducting a systematic or one-time literature search is a complex task that demands expertise in search methods across multiple databases. Regardless of the type it is recommended to search at least three databases, including large index and smaller subject-focused ones.
In this session we will try to maximise the potential of reference databases - SciVal, Web of Science, Google Scholar and discovery tool Primo by understanding the differences between and how to leverage them for more efficient, targeted searches.
If your study schedule conflicts, you can book an appointment or visit our offices (Floor 3, Block 5e) for assistance.
