Advance Research with SciFinder

Advance Research with SciFinder

Whether you're working on assignments, projects, or theses, it is recommended to search a subject database ensuring comprehensive coverage of literature. In Fall semester you can explore exceptional databases for research in the field of engineering, humanities and sciences. The online drop-in sessions will give you an overview of the database and the effective search features.

This session will focus on SciFinder database:

  • discover SciFinder;
  • learn how to use sophisticated search; and
  • access full text of article;
  • and more.
If your study schedule conflicts, you can book an appointment or visit our offices (Floor 3, Block 5e) for assistance.

SciFinder provides access to chemistry literature, including articles, patents, technical reports, and more. It supports research on chemical properties, substances, and reactions through tools like CAS SciFinderⁿ, CAS Analytical Methods®, and CAS Formulus®. These platforms offer authoritative chemical identification, scientific methods, formulations, and regulatory insights.
