In celebration of International Open Access Week, the Nazarbayev University Library invites all NU community members to participate in our Instagram Reels Contest!
This year’s theme is “WHO OWNS OUR KNOWLEDGE?” — a powerful question that invites us to reflect on how research and information should be shared and accessed.
🎥 Create a short video (up to 2 minutes) that explores this theme. Your reel can:

• Explain the meaning of open access and why it matters
• Show how open access empowers research and education
• Share your personal view on who should have access to knowledge
• Use storytelling, humor, or creativity to make the message engaging

🏆 The most original and impactful reels will be featured on the NU Library Instagram page, and winners will receive special prizes!
